    hey guys got a stereo/alternator question

    Im going to be putting a sundown x12 1250watts rms. Its gonna be on 2 ohms at 1400w on my amp. Will i need a new alternator or just new batteries aaaaand are there even better alts available for 3.8?

    power steering hose leaking, is my mechanic ripping me off?

    I confirmed my power steering hoses needed ro be replaced. My dad who works at GM got me a deal on the lines for $150. My mechanic wants 280 to install them. If thats 90 an hour, it is 3.1 hours. How long does this actually take, how hard is it to do at home and am I being taken for a ride?

    Passenger side speaker amp install 2004GP. How should I go through the firewall?

    I have an amp and sub in the trunk that is going through the door jamb(I know shame on me) and I am about to install another amp under the glove box, but I want to do it right and run wires through the firewall. If anybody could provide a diagram or picture or description of the best place to go...

    ENGINE POWER REDUCED. starting disabled due to electronic throttle control.. HELP!

    So I just died in the walmart parking lot my engine light has been on for a week and I am just getting around to scanning.it later today. I put a stereo in last night with and I must admit that its a power hog. Ive heard that this could be a bunch of different sensors, but I have no clue.

    04 GP front speakers! Do I cut the plugs?

    I just bought some new speakers and im wondering if I have to cut the plug from the stock ones to wire in the new ones. I wired my deck up by myself and have a sub and amp ready to put in as well.
