    Air Box Delete and take out

    On a Stock 98 GT, Would I b able to take the Air Box out and run just the air tube with K&N Air Filter in it till I get better tube. Is it safe to take the air box out because I heard the PCM is under the box and will get damaged. Will the PCM get damaged or no.
