    a/c compressor problems

    so I have a 01 gpgt and I recharged the ac and the compressor would never kick on, that is til I hit it with the end of a bat lol not hard just one little light tap, then it kicked on and the ac got colder than it ever has according to my dad. then it shut off after a couple min, I hit it again...
