• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Replacing zone control actuator in 99 GT, do you need to evacuate/ re charge?

The dealer has my GT, doing the blows warmer on one side thing. THey estimated 297 for the part and a total of 658 with labor. I know they have to take out the dash and it's a PITA, but they said they have to "evacuate and re charge" do you have to do that?

Hey y'all The indespensible GP is at it again...awhile back I posted about some issues that proved to be a crank position sensor gone whacko. Subsequently and non related, I had to reseal the upper and lower intakes, after the lower was leaking oil like a Detroit Diesel in a shrimp boat...

Probable crank sensor, car stalled, gauges erratic

Hello- We have owned our '99 Grand Prix GT since we bought it as a theft recovery in 2005 that my buddy who worked for a local Pontiac dealer rebuilt and drove personally for a while. We had a baby on the way and discovered our LeBaron convertible's trunk was too small for the stroller.:)...
