    Power window regulator 2003 Grand Prix

    Can anyone tell me if the regulator can be repaired? The motor works in both directions but does not move the window. Do these have a rack and pinion to raise / lower the glass? The parts are not that expensive but I don't want to buy one if it can be repaired instead. Thanks
