    channel plate input shaft sleeve scored.. HELP!

    hey, im in the process of putting my new input shaft/gxp chains in.. (my input shaft broke) and the sleeve that the input shaft sealing rings slides into is scored.... this trans only has 7k miles on it... how can this happen? does it need fixed? how can i fix it? i have the channel plate off...
