    Will the 4t65e tranny out of a 97 buick lesabre work in my 99 grand prix gtp. if so does anything need to be reprogrammed or is it plug and play. I am new to all this electronically controlled stuff. Used to the old muscle cars. Thanks Brian

    99 gtp tranny problem

    NEW GUY HERE. HAVE A 99 GRAND PRIX GTP. WHEN SHIFTING THE TRANS REVS REAL HIGH(usually about 4000). WHEN YOU LET OFF IT WILL EVENTUALLY SHIFT. WHEN YOU KICK IT DOWN IT BANGS. THIS ONLY HAPPENS AFTER THE CAR WARMS UP. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM.CAR HAS 180,000 THANKS
