    wondering if I can run a 3.4 pulley on my car by boosting octane?

    I am wondering if I could get by for awhile by boosting premium octane (93) to the 94-96 range? I have a pcm tuned by 3800performance for a 3.4 setup,intake,colder ngk plugs and fresh plug wires. I know i at least need a downpipe and or p-log otherwise, but can't right now.

    I have been looking for either a pontiac gtp or regal gs for awhile. I finally managed to track down a 1999 buick regal gs. Is there anyway to get away with mabe a 3.4 pulley adding just a intake,180thermostat,dp,and autolite 104's? At least for awhile? btw I had a mild cammed firebird lt1...
