    White smoke and slight burning rubber smell

    I have noticed when I am driving, there will be some white smoke coming up from under the hood. I went to go check it out and it had an oil/ slight burning rubber smell. The smoke it slightly to the left of the place were you put the oil. Any ideas as to what it might be?

    Weird Whine When Accelerating

    I have a 98 Grand Prix GT. When I accelerate, it does a weird, faint whine, but only while acceleration. When I say faint, I have to have the radio turned down even to hear it. When I take my foot off the petal, it's quiet again. I do not notice this whine while using cruise control either...
