    where to splice for loc with monsoon

    My car is a 01 regal with the monsoon. I'm adding a sub and was going to use a loc or high level input depending on the amp I get. Here's my question: is it better to splice into the input before or after the amp or does it matter? I've searched several threads on here but nothing specifies this.
