    i need help! engine ticking?? 3800

    i have a 97 grand prix gt with the v6 3800..... I was told when i bought it they thought the oil pump was out....... ive looked at it and im pretty sure the oil pump isnt out..... but there is a ticking type noise the sounds like its coming from the top of the engine...... i looked at the rocker...

    oil pump??

    can someone tell me where the oil pump is in a 97 grand prix gt v6 3.8??? ive found a couple of things online but they are showing it in the oil pan for the 3.1 and 3.4... is it the same for the 3.8??? any help would be appreciated.... i just bought the car today at a steal and need to change...
