    Fuel Gauge acting up

    I have a 97 SE and I've been having some problems with my fuel gauge. Whenever my gauge starts to dip below a 1/4 tank and I shut the car off, when I start it back up again the needle points to full and Sloooowwwwwly goes down as I drive around.
