    2001 grand prix wont turn off

    i have a 2001 grand prix se and sometimes when i go to turn it off the engine will shut off, but the key stops in the battery position so the stereo stays on and even if i take thekey out of the iginition the door beeps when i open it and the radio will stay on. any idea what could be wrong...
