    Whole rack and pinion is moving causing a knock/thud

    I have a 99 grand am I thought I had a bad tie rod but under closer inspection my whole rack shifts on the bolts. The bolts are tight, is there some sort of spacer or bushing that could be worn out? I haven't messed with many racks other then the one on my 94 camaro and that was just 2 bolts...

    temperature not registering on gauge

    I just had to swap motors in my 01 regal I spun a rod bearing grabbed a junk yard motor swapped all my known good parts over (including all sensors I believe) except my temp sensor that's under the thermostat, I broke it... i bought an autozone replacement. I just fired it up today I am not...
