This is my car, got it back in March so it is mostly stock minus stereo and window tint. I have a list of things to do, but havent gotten to it yet.

I would like to get exhaust, but dont know what would sound good, HID headlights, Cold Air Intake (have one in mind), and the SE body fascias.
Anyone have any thoughts?

For exhaust do not put magnaflows or flowmasters on it will make u want to rip ur face off, go with a cherry bomb glasspack as a muffler or open dump

Re: My 08 GP

super clean car man! double din fits nicely in that dash. i def need to buy or make a better box for my subs i like how clean that looks.

edit: and another 08 GP base model :D

Re: My 08 GP

What kind of radio is that? Is it a direct fit to the stock one?

Once you get your dash kit which all radios need, yes it is a direct fit. I did lose my date and time feature on the computer though, but thats not a big deal to me... There is a separate wire that went to the radio for that, that isnt used.

Here is the headunit. It is an awesome unit.

The subs are in a pretty plain box, pictured below. I just made the front to fill the sides and add a nice look to the trunk. I got the subs, box and amp from a sale my auto sound store was having, the subs and box were there top installers and built amazingly well and the amp was a promo never used, all for $125.

Re: My 08 GP

I dont have steering wheel controls so idk. But I think the box says it is compatible with steering wheel controls.... but dont quote me on that. The whole thing is a giant volume knob as well as forward and back..... move your finger in a circular motion and it controls volume, swipe your finger and it is the next and back button.

That is the initial pic too. I have all the buttons and everything color matched to the red lights in the car.

Re: My 08 GP

i can't remember the website but there is an adapter so you don't lose your steering wheel controls when you install an aftermarket stereo

Re: My 08 GP

I am looking at the SPO grilles. Do you guys think black or silver?? I think I am leaning toward going silver.

Re: My 08 GP

The only other black on the car are the tinted windows.

Re: My 08 GP

Finished the CAI today.... put velcro on the PCM and used a zip tie to hold the filter up. Down the road I may get rid of that flexible tube.

KState plate.

Win. Did you go to school there?

Intake does look good, glad you took the easy route. And for the record, yeah the corrugated crap rubber tubing is where the real restriction is as the air gets all pissed off and goes every different direction...a rubber coupler and replace that piece. That'll finish it off nicely.

Cool beans, Seaton Hall...that's my great grandpa who they named that after.

polished tube will work...or just the rubber coupler, won't do anything much more than make it shiny lol

Re: My 08 GP

I spent many hours in Seaton... my Ex is and architecture student, and I did engineering before I left. Now I am goign to do Law Enforcement.
