For those not up to speed, here's the cliff notes: (not exact quotes, but you can go find them if you really want to)
9-6 taking car to tuner tomorrow
9-11 finished intercooler, except for tubing, doing it an hour before sunset
9-16 posted dropped off car on thursday (9-13)
9-18 "I have numbers"
9-21 "numbers will be posted 9-25"
9-21 claims the tuner at shop had family emergency will finish on tuesday (9-21 was a wed, so... 9-27?)
9-27 not done, no numbers (3 weeks for a couple hour process?)
9-29 didn't get call, will call monday to b*tch
timeline here gets generic, no dates, sorry
4 weeks ago: shop was in process of moving, dyno not installed yet (I thought there were numbers to be posted on 9-25)
no posts for 2 weeks
2 weeks ago, replied to blueguy91 "who the **** is Curtis?"
On July 23rd I posted my car for sale on facebook, he had been talking to me about it since, yeah, I am that guy!
His next post, that day, car still at shop, getting free detail and heavy discount. (performance shops doing detail work slows down tuners!)
a week ago, tuner waiting on bin file? really? real tuners, ask anyone with a powrtuner or HP Tuner, you read the PCM and build from there, for the car they are tuning

Did I miss anything?

I like this recap, seems quite accurate. I am seriously thinking of driving up there and checking out what the **** they are doing in person. I keep getting "Oh we will check with the tuner and get back with you" type answers.

He said something along the lines of them making a new .Bin file...

Honestly if someone can find me a tuner in the Tampa or Pinellas Area i will bring it to another shop. I'll take the bite of the towing cost i don't give a **** anymore i want this **** done.

There's a good shop up here, I'm not sure how familiar they are with 3800s or if they even know how to tune them, but one guy that works there knows his LS1 stuff. Hell I can give you something that'll be decent enough to drive probably, nothing magical though.

It is entirely possible the shop is yanking his chain. And I don't typically go out of my way to find holes in a story till they really start to come out from others, I just leave it alone.

Would you take your car to a tuner on Sept 13th and November 4th, it's still there... just short of 2 MONTHS!!!

I would have gone there in person and towed the ***king thing back to my house if they had it for a week, let alone a season.
