Give em another shot and I would put down $100 on the T/A.

Lighter, more aerodynamic, more race parts, more power. Car for Car the ZL1 is still out gunned by a 13 year older brother.

Duly noted... However, I have been banned from Camaro 5 since mid 2010 when I posted a Video of my Bolt-on 2000 SS beating up on a new Camaro SS repeatedly at the strip. They have absolutely no sense of humor.

Most new Maro owners don't have a sense of humor about it. Their cars are the new thing and faster than errything else out there. If its not a 500hp+ car its not worth their time or gas, they have no sense of humor about losing.

Like Mustang owners with a slightly deeper pockets.
 
So, 350~ RWHP?...on numbers the bigger car should win...but...what are numbers.

4th gen wins again.

I can't wait to see how they ruin the 6th gen like the ruined the C7.
 
The reality is, despite the wildly inflated horsepower #'s, the new cars just aren't that fast- GM, Ford, or Chrysler.
 


Problem with the new Maros isn't the hp. The power the motors make is right on cue. But when you weight in at 3900lbs the extra power doesn't really help alot. The 02 SS was just over 3400 lbs so give/take 500lbs and 100hp... yeaaa
 
Pretty much, just under 4200lbs for the ZL1.

considering the ZR1 weights in at a measly 3405lbs with the same power plant... the Maro is a fat piggy.

Oh and the 2013 GT500 with is 662/631 hp/tq weights in middle ground at 3891lbs. Chunky but still got the power.
