I say give plastidip a shot, I almost bought the kit from Dipyourcar.com for my old 86 Firebird but decided just to paint it.

Hell I have thought about doing it to the GTP but using my own paint guns with plastidip from Dipyourcar.com since they already pre-thin it.

Btw that last white Mustang is very sexy

Matte white for sure.. everyone does black.

Those photoshops you did, the orange and silver were my favorites.

LOL j/k j/k It did look good but not really a fan on the Stangs. I personally like the color your car is already, but I think you should get a different bumper and a hood. But I also realize that is $$$ that you'd like to save for the time being.

If it were me, the black top looks pretty good, and I think diping the middle of the hood to match (like one center stripe) would be a nice change with just the accents and your original red mixed.

Photoshop Fun. Also I am going with Matte White. It's settled. Now spring just needs to hury up so I can do it.

Yeah I like how it turned out. I just really want spring to be here so I can get this started. So excited for these results.
 
Don't do it unless your paint is complete garbage

As soon as the plastidip chips and rips you jave to redo the entire section in order for it to look good

Apparently you haven't heard of a new product DipYourCar sells that repairs spots... so no.
 
So they sell you a product that you can already buy at home depot.

I know plastdip. That pos gp in my avatar was plastidipped. Im telling you that a touch up can be done but it's not easy. And if you go too thin anywhere it will be harder than Hell to remove

Few questions: did u paint that around the grille yourself because it looks sweet? Also the little screen above the radio I forget what it's called right now but how did you get it blue, did you just replace the bulb behind it and did u have to take the whole dash apart?
