Any knife people out there?

I'm looking for a new pocket knife right now. I'm looking for something pretty specific also so it will probably be hard to find. Right now I've got a CRKT, which I love, but is worn out. I'm looking for a twin blade knife, one straight blade, and the other serrated for cutting rope and such, with a pocket clip. My dad has a Buck that would be perfect but it doesn't have a clip and found out they aren't made anymore. Anyone know of any companies I should check out? I've already checked out Buck, Gerber, and CRKT. I want good knives, not something made in China since I use it pretty often.

I bought a CRKT for my brother in law at Christmas. I was so tempted to buy myself one, I absolutely loved the thing when looking at them. Christmas before that I bought him an SOG Flash. lol There aren't a lot of good double bladed knives out there unless you're looking at something cheap or old styled pocket knives like Case, and then they lack serrations. Most of the modern hsld "tactical" knives that are so popular are single-bladed folders. Do you have a Sportsman's Warehouse near you? They have one of the largest knife selections I've seen and that's where I bought that CRKT.

I take it you have no interest in razor knifes then. I'm still torn between my love of a razor vs. full blade pocket knife. I wouldn't mind having one that had both.

Check out Cold Steel or Benchmade or Case. Kershaw makes good knives too, I love both my Gerber and Kershaw knives. I've always trusted Gerbers and made good knives, and Kershaw is up there. Seem like Gerber has gone down hill a little though.

i've had this kershaw since around 1985. some of you were not born yet lmao.

Smith and Wesson M&P knife series. I've had 2, first one was stolen, 2nd one is still just as sharp as the day I got it years ago. Even has a glass breaking tip on the butt end. It's assisted opening, and will take as much abuse as you can throw at it.

I can't believe I forgot about Kershaw, I had a smaller one a for a while and loved it, just needed something bigger.

I'll check out those other companies, thanks guys.

the thing i like about the kershaw is the lifetime warranty. my ex's kid took it and stabbed the cement floor and broke the tip off it, sent it back, free replacement, not just the blade, the whole knife.

i got it as a gift, and never had the receipt nor did they ask for one when i called to see if the warranty still stood.

over the years i think i sharpened this knife, maybe 3 times.

Anyone ever heard of Spyderco? They have a knife that's exactly what I'm looking for.

Also found a SOG, I can't find it on SOG's site though

And this Gerber

These are about all that I can find really, I wish the SOG had a belt clip. I wonder if I could put one on myself...

I prefer Kershaw open-assist knives to anything else.

I have a cheap gerber that I've used for damn near everything and it still holds up.

I also have a cheap smith and wesson I got at autozone for like $5 that I pretty much always have on me. Its solid for the price.

Spyderco was one of the many knives I carried while in the military, cold steel makes some really nice stuff too, their recon series are badass.
