• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Just cause you have a mustang doesn't mean you have horses.

Why the sigh?

Maybe because of the word "Nos", maybe because nitrous itself doesn't cause an engine to fall apart. Same principle as "Guns don't kill people, people kill people". I don't know, that Travis guy is a jerk sometimes.

I guess i just assumed that it was the reason. Due to a piston chipping during it. And a performance shop working with him on it telling him so and that the kit wasnt installed 100% correctly.

*shrug*

Yeah, and you drive Fords daily. Dont push me, punk. ;)

Between my 01 S10 ZR2 and my 73 ford f100, I loved my ford more. 360 V8 that ran mint, 2wd and rust errr where. But the interior was near mint, like showroom mint. I rattlecan'd the exterior flat black and it looked baddass along with sounding it. True story

Well I live on a ranch. And there are many, much larger, livestock and horse breeding ranches around me.
Requires trucks that can do heavy duty work 24/7 100% of the time.
Neighbor went and bought four F450s, gave them to the ranch truck drivers for use on the property. All four trucks had get new motors after four months of heavy use. Local Ford house refused to help my neighbors with the trucks he just bought.

Scrapped the trucks. Went and bought 2 Chevy 1 tons with the 454 and two 03 dodge Cummins. none of the four have had problems since his purchase about two years ago.

So, dude bought new F-450s, but resorted to a 12+ year old Chevy with a 454? I'm sure you already know this, but the 454 has been out of production for many moons, in favor of the 496.

Yes your right I do know this. I have one in my drivway :)

Sometimes older is better. Especially if its proven itself time and time again.

Compared to easily blowing 200k down the toilet on the fords I think it was a smart decision to go with trucks that could actually do the work for a 1/5th price.
