So tired....just want to sleep.
Considering turning my heater on and crawling under my desk.

On another note, surgical tape is some strong stuff.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Read this in my Twitter feed... lol.

I'm so much smarter than these ****ing idiots on Blue's Clues right now. It's a triangle Timmy, like your mom has with your dad and uncle.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Had lastnight off and actually got 9.5hrs of sleep, so nice. Back to working until 4am tonight though.

The old house I lived in, all the router and stuff was in the basement. My room was upstairs, and was too cheap to buy the wifi receiver for my xbox360. I had a box of CAT5 cable, I made mine one. Snaked it out through a vent, went all the way along the side of the house, and through my window. Was legit.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

The modem we were given is actually a router combo. So i took and turned my Dlink into an access point. ran a cat 5 down inside the wall, under the floor thru the basement, then back up into the living room. then hooked to router. then another one downstairs to the other PS3. Both routers are wifi capable, so I've got 2 wireless networks lol and 2 routers LOL ill be able to hardwire all my game consoles on the main floor, both PC and server upstairs. Plus tons of 802.11N connections :D

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Just saw on the news that starting on April 22, Verizon is going to start charging $30 to upgrade phones....Seriously? WTF Verizon!?
First you take away the unlimited data....and now this?
And your lowest minute plans at 700 minutes is just plain retarded and expensive. (My average monthly use is 40 minutes, Mom's is like 80ish)

Seriously, a very irritated customer.
But who cares, we all know we'll keep paying.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

^^ If they keep that. They tried charging people some other crazy fee that no one agreed with, but they took it away.

I am ready to upgrade in July and right now we still have Unlimited Data, and if they dont grandfather us in, I am switching to Sprint I think.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

Correction, read more carefully. If you upgrade in your early upgrade term, the 18 months or whatever. The way I understood it was if you fulfill your full 24 month contract, the $30 dollar fee is not valid.

They tried charging customers x amount in fees for not using the automated payment.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

I remember that! All these surcharges and other stupid things.
I guess they were saying other companies already charge 15-20 to upgrade. Seems stupid to me.
I didn't get my smartphone till after the unlimited ended, so I'm restricted. But I'm pretty sure they should still let you stay unlimited since you were already. A friend just upgraded and they let her stay.
When I can get on my own plan and keep my number (1.5 yrs away), I think I may switch to prepaid smartphone, it may be cheaper at this rate.

Re: Random Thought Thread 2.0

If VZW tried invoking some gay fee on mine. I'd tell them I'll pay the ETF, and go elsewhere.

Straighttalk by WalMart there is a way to flash a Verizon smartphone to StraightTalk for unlimited for $45 dollars. Just not an easy and most legal procedure.
