Edit: 06/11/12
Decided that the amount of water in my taillight could house a fish, so I drilled some holes, drained it out, got tired of looking at it so I tinted the tails up. Got tired of misalligned and ugly stock tips so I replaced those too, while I was at it, I finally debadged. Tell me what you think!

Edit 2: Also in the process of purchasing Z7 turblow kit, all supporting mods to get the kit running, clear corner lenses, and an HV3, stay tuned.

Edit: 6/13/12
............. Oh howdy

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

Looks good man! like the wheel choice. whatcha got planned for the future?

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

Looks clean. Those are the exact same rims I want lol. Did you get those from tire rack?

To be perfectly honest I love this car as is right now. It's got a sound system I thoroughly enjoy, got enough power for my liking with the N/A 3800 and overall she looks good. I'm just ganna have to detail a few dings here and there but other than that she's most likely ganna stay stock :D

D, yeah I did get 'em from tirerack! If you look on tirerack, there's some new Advanti(Sp?) rims on there that looks DISGUSTING for 17s.

Not a bad idea....modding is addictive...and expensive.

Definitely, I spent a pretty penny on wheels so I'm ganna chill for a bit. I love the feel of the car as is and she's still got some balls so I'm happy :)

How do those blazertechs work? I want them, but they have to work as good or better than stock. Nice car. What % tint on the windows?

Blazertechs are wicked. They look blue and shine yellow light which is key for fog plus their light output is pretty damn solid. The tint is 35% on the front and 15% in the back.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

Wish my car was this low. Definitely saving up for suspension mods this spring.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

So I ordered me a pair of SSC springs and KYB Excel-G struts, should get here tomorrow. Until then, I managed to snap a picture of how a working car looks in the winter hahah

EDIT: My blazertech fogs cracked like a bunch of egg shells...Not really surprised since I didn't invest in lens protectors...Word to the wise ladies and gents, the 20 bucks for lens protectors, very worth it.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

Thanks a lot bro! They're getting discontinued I believe so I'm happy I picked 'em up before that happened. Also, it should look a lot better without that FAT 4x4 wheel gap with the lowering setup. Will post pics probably tomorrow or Thursday with the new springs, then a week later for the settled result.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

She loves winter. How's yours doing mayne? Any problems as of late? I hope not.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: My girl

Only problem is I drive to Woodstock daily so she's taking some good wear and tear

Ahh, hey you're almost coming half way to Guelph! That's where I be!! Need to hit up an Ontario meet this spring. That's for damn sure.

Re: 2001 Grand Prix GT: SSC lowered *Update 2/28/12*

Yay for ****ty phone pics! This is only 2 days after install. Was just a tad excited so decided to pic whore a bit(I'd like to apologize in advance) :th_lipssealed1: Will update after this with pics after a week, by then these should be nicely settled. As for what I think of it? I absolutely love the ride. Went with SSC lowering springs with KYB Excel-G/Gr-2 struts, as well as, 4 anti pogo washers that make a hell of a difference. Going from blown struts and saggy springs to this totally woke my car up. I can finally feel confident in a turn with almost no body sway, at least in comparison to before. My advice to anyone who wants to do this, do your research (there's plenty of threads in the Suspension section), and go for what looks good but you'll still enjoy ride wise. Cheers!
