Lol I was full throttle but it was just to **** around. It's been a long time since I raced anything. Also I need to figure out why I was getting 5* of kr.....
 


Hey Max, is that a black Regal in your rearview? It's so far back...it's tough to tell....lol

Not saying your car doesn't have balls Nick...best of luck racing Max in the Madmobile. I'm pretty sure it's faster than your GTO was.
 
I give Nick's car some credit. If I remember correctly he ran a G8 before and I think he beat it when he was on the GenV/XP. No idea how our line up would turn out but I think it would be interesting for sure. I don't know if the previous G8 was stock or not though. Either way, I'm loving the G8 and would take it anyday over the w-body :cool:

3.4, headers, intake, 1.9 rockers, AL 104's. I'm pretty sure I have a vacuum leak, at idle it's only 14

My buddy in his T/A raced a G8 GT with a solo catback, intake and handheld tune. The G8 barely put two lengths on him. When I raced my buddies T/A with the mods I have he put two lengths on me. I know max was saying he has more mods but I think nick will seize the day.

You may need to run a 3.5''. Find the vacuum leak first though.

This is in no way a shot at Max... G8's are very nice cars, as I've told him. And my friends runs mid 12's with headers/tune and an intake.
This was his car with a catback, vararam and a dyno tune (made 340whp) vs my GTO when it was stock.


The GTO was something else...
 
This was the Regal vs that same G8 before his mods while I had 3.2/GenV on the stock injectors.

Then we took his g8 to the dyno to tune it with the Vararam and catback.

We took it back after his header install for a retune and it made 370whp. No video though :(
 


Yeah I remembered seeing those videos before Nick. Whenever we're both free and once the weather/roads clear up a bit we can run for fun. I'm down with that.

When I first put it on I'd get about 2* of KR.....but at that point a tune would have easily delt with that.

Also was your buddies G8 there the night you raced Jay in the goat swap race? If so, that's the G8 I'm refering to, mark raced that and he was beat by about 2 lengths.

Yeah Max.. the stock accordian tube and airbox do fit with a stock TB and Gen V. Looks ...stockish.

Ed.. If we are following them, we could all race at the same time and never have to worry about catching them.
 


There's no fight for 3rd or 4th. We aren't even in the running with them. Therefore between you and I, there'll be a winner and a Daytona. ;)
