My 3800 Firebird with ram air and duals could keep pace with my friends 93 "Foxxx" (his license plate) that had a fair amount of work done to it. He killed me from a launch, but lost it in the long run.

Not nearly as funny as you are with your "5SLOW" comment...

You're pretty accurate in saying a stock fox 5.0 is slow, I'm not arguing that. My post, before I decided against it, was just going to remind people that like it or not, the 5.0 is one of the best bang for buck platforms that money can buy.

And even though this particular one is basically stock, it seemed that you were trying to generalize them all as being slow with your comment. I thought to myself, surely this outstanding young man knows this, so I left it alone. Maybe I shouldn't have? Either way, if you paid attention, I gave him the same answer you did, without the mustang bashing....which by the way, you missed the point. It's 5.slow, just trying to help you out.
