Tornado warnings have been issued in the Indianapolis area. Residents have been asked to seek shelter at Lucas Oil Stadium, since there is no chance of a touchdown there.

Found out chocolate covered cookie dough balls give me really bad gas....like clear the room bad.
Needless to say it's been fun at work watching people walk into my crop dust.....

nothing makes me happier than to get in my car after a long day, turn that seat warmer on, and for a GOOD song to be on the radio all at the same time :D

Damn straight. My boss likes it when I answer the sales reps annoying questions because I do it in a way that is "professional" but arrogant and pissy all at the same time.

I got crappy at work with someone on the phone today because they are stupid. It was a scammer and he thought he could fool me but he didn't.

I use my seat warmer every morning for like 4 minutes. Then I get really hot and think "Why the hell did I even turn that on?" lol

Our work experiences seem to parallel each other at times. Last week I had a rep from a packaging company call me. It went something like this.

"We are going to send you a catalog, and some packing tape that should last you about a month. We are also going to send a Sony clock radio that is yours to keep no matter what."

After I was like, "OK cool", he says something along the lines of "There will be standard 30 day billing" CLICK.

Well I got the bastard back, I refused delivery when UPS attempted delivery and I am letting AP know to refuse the invoice that I know will show up.

On Monday I inquired about getting a Thermal Label Printer from UPS.
Here is my inquiry:

I was wondering how we could get set up with a Thermal Label Printer? We ship pretty often and I thought it would be nice and easier to ship if we could get one.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel this order. Our “Order Supplies” feature on UPS.com does not allow for any changes once an order is processed.

However, once your order arrives, your UPS driver will be happy to return any supplies that you do not need. I apologize that I am unable to modify your order at this time.

WHERE IN THE HELL did he get that I ordered anything.
I will be calling UPS in the morning and demanding and explanation of why what happened, happened. Totally uncalled for. Grr.

I think I need an anger management class.

I'm a Production Supervisor (and many more jobs all in one) for a manufacturer of drop in bedliners. It's amazing how popular the drop in liner still is in every other country besides the US.

In your situation contact your UPS rep (not the driver, but the actual sales representative) for your area. Tell them what happened and make it clear you are not happy.

If you have a daily pick up its usually pretty easy to get UPS to set you up with WorldShip and a printer for no cost. Hell they just brought in a brand new computer for one of our sister companies because the original one was so old. It was starting to experience compatibility problems with other programs that needed to go on it.
