• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

You know you drive a GP when...

You know you drive a 2 door GP when people ask why you put "Grand Prix" stuff all over your 2 door Grand Am.

When ur driving another car and can't see ur speed cuz there's no h.u.d.
just did this yesterday and it drove me nuts!

That is the most loved and missed feature if I ever have to drive someone else's car. It annoys me when I actually have to look down at the speed.

yup. i'm so spoiled by the HUD. idk what im gonna do when i get rid of my prix. be lost :( this car is my angel i plan to keep it tho.

yeah. next vehicle i get (which will probably be a 04+GP. with any luck it'll be a G8) will have HUD if i can help it. not sure if the G8 has HUD though. have to look into it.

I agree, the HUD is the thing I will miss the most when I have to get rid of my GP.....whenever that day will come. :(
I've already determined that my next car will be based on if it has a HUD or not. I'll just have to find a list of cars that do have HUD's (or cars that could have them added) and then find one off the list that I like best. Until then I love my GP and shall treat it as so.

You know you drive a GP with a HUD when the VERY first thing you look for when looking at a GP is if it has a HUD.

actually. the first thing i looked for was supercharger, leather, heated seat, sunroof, then HUD. i could have lived without HUD. but now that i've got the HUD, i never want to live without it. i feel guilty when i actually look at the gauges. feel like i might neglect the temp. gauge and feck it up or somethin.

That's why they put the "check gauges" light inside the HUD. I've noticed that it doesn't come on when the SES light does, but I'd assume for any other light it would light up telling your lazy @$$ to look down at the gauges for once and see what 'da problem is. ;)

a positive comment for once...

you know you drive a GP when the mail lady says "is that your car!?" and you can proudly say yes and get lots of smiles in return :D
kinda put a little icing on my sh!t day. i love our mail lady, known her since i was a baby.

You know you drive a GP when the vent control (97-03 people) stops working, if others like to play with those fancy spinning vents and are amazed that a gauge will fit perfectly in it

You know you drive a GP when you're driving down the road and can feel air coming in by your door handle.

I've determined that one way or another this issue WILL be fixed before snow flies.
