09 camaro v6 seems slow...

Comin home from work tonite im at a light next to prob an 09 camaro v6 and some dude in it blastin music with two of his buddies in there too. we get down a few miles and i notice he's creepin near me but in the lane next to me.I just had to see what these things can do.The driver dosent see me but i sgnal to his boy for a quick pull.we go basically from a 55 roll and we take off at the same time.I hang with him till basically 90 then he starts slowly pulling away. I let off at 95ish and he gives me a thumbs up as i coast by. I know they weigh a good bit but i thought he would have ran from me on top end.
 


True.i figured im puttin out less power then him and the added weight he has should make this a near even race until one of us (me), reaches the point where not much power is left then the faster car takes over.
 


whoaaaa 6 cars? lol nahhh. Yea they weigh what 3900ish with 304hp but it was prob 4500 with them included. Me and my car together is just over 3600 plus full tank maybe 3700, so i had prob a better advantage to an extent.
 
Hummmm.... As a Camaro lover, I would really love to see this Unicorn of a car... 2009 Must have been a very special year.... :-)
 
I say 09 because most '10 and 11' camaros i see have spoilers and are clean lookin. His had no spoiler and just had a different look to it lol.I know weird way to say it but you get what i mean.

I was thinking the same thing when he said '09. I was just too lazy to research.
