I have a 98 pace car, its medium gulf blue. That cast coat iron is close in color to my Moda MD7 wheels. It should look awesome!!!

Here's some pics I never uploaded to show you guys a little more in depth why you have to cut the shrouds so in depth....

Notice the pinch points above, the slope on the inside of the housing stops the projector from being at the appropriate depth to fit in the 97-03 housings. Here's a few more.....

This is why you have to take the hump top and bottom basically out up to the front edge of the ring on the shroud or it won't sit flat. You can leave a little bit of it on the bottom, not on the top...

Here you can see on top the two slits right and left of the hump keep the projector from going back any further.... this also keeps you from getting the right rotation because you cannot turn it right or left! It will also gouge the crap out of your housings if you don't eliminate where it hits. If you try to jam it back your housings will need repaired before paint and most likely you will crack your shroud... then you're wating for more shrouds to get to you. I always stock extra shrouds just for these reasons...

Another angle of the back of the shroud hitting the slope of the housing and the pinch point by the hump...

Whats improper trimming of shrouds lead to? This below a projector that doesn't sit flat againt the back of the housing. What's this mean, well probably water or moisture in your housing because the nylon washer on the back of the projector on the inside doesn't sit flush against where the dremel work was done on the inside of the housing. It also means you aren't getting the adapter to sit nice and flat on the back of the housing. Thus keeping you from getting the lock nut on tight or flush against the adapter, thus keeping you from screwing the 3 screw bulb holder on the back of the projector correctly.

man i wish i had the balls to do my 04 because thats exactly what i want mine to look like

Just got to try it carl, a lot of people have requested white or say they want white shrouds lately. I didn't do my first set and call it good. It probably took me 3-4 set before I really figured out what I was doing. I did 3 sets on my own car for practice.

Thanks Mad monk, not sure what color car they're going on but a white car with these headlights is a win imo..... or white wheels with these....

ya its just the money thing that gets me to do a set and **** it up and then have nothing but money wasted
