• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Crazy Taz and his wire tuck.

theres a audio place near by that would have it and I want what 2 gauge? can I use 4 gauge for the ground?
You never want your ground to be smaller than your power. 2 gauge might be harder to find than 1/0 and 4. When I installed for an audio shop, I never once saw 2 gauge.

SO I got to the point tonight/ this morning where I could start putting things back together! So after I get the battery wire ran and the power ran to the fuse box I'll be ready to see if it starts...

so this side looks nice, but the top and other side look like sh** I hope when I put the top swap on here that will help fix the top part of the engine the other side I'm going to do a little bit at a time because doing as much as I did at once on this side was just a major pain.

how do you guys feel about connections like this?

where you twist the two wires together giving it a good physical conection and then soder them and stick some heat shrink on top. It's not super pretty but Iv'e never had a conection where I've done that in the past fail...

opinions please

so yea should have just soldered it all in the first place because pulling tape and those stupid crimps off just added another hour into the project lol no work tomorrow so I got all day to finish it.

you've come this far, just take your time and it will all be so satisfying in the end.

i learned my lesson years ago with all the different but splices and clip on wire connectors, they all suck and fail sooner or later. had the wires under my dash in a old ass truck catch fire from the radio wires that were connected with them blue clips that let you add a wire to another wire,(never again) lots of smoke and melted wires lol

soldering rules!
