Funny thing is if you look it up on wikipedia, it says that front bench and column shifters never made it into this generation.
 
99 is the newest year I've seen this on. I say they stopped it around then.

I wonder I these even had cup holders or if it has a pull out deal under the hvac

i honestly want one now, call me crazy but column conerversion hahah

Well, if the cupholders didn't pop out of the dash area maybe they were molded into the door panel like they are on my 95 Bonneville. It's got a bench and column shift, but has an ashtray where I would imagine a cupholder would go.
