so last night was fun until i walked out of the bar at 1:30 a.m. to get in my gtp i noticed that there was glass next to my car and i told the wife to drive since i was too drunk to drive and she said the glass was from our car.i asked her how she knew that and she said the drivers window was knocked out.it was really dark out and i could not see anything so i had a buddy come over and shine his lights on the car.as he did i seen the extent of the damage and was as follows no driver window,no cd player,no gps ,three out of four tires flattened,headlights knocked out,and the battery gone.so i had to call a tow truck to take it home after the cops got done with it and bum a ride off my buddy.im just glad i didnt take the dodge out last night:th_angry-censored:

But that sucks nonetheless man...hope you get it all fixed and figured out.

cops said that there has been car thefts and vandalism alot in the last three days they told me to turn it in to my insurance company and get it fixed and bring a copy of the bill to them for when they catch the people that done it for restitution

the only people i have pissed off is the mechanics at the dodge dealer when my truck needs warranty work done to it which is alot. i work construction and i lease my truck out to the company i work for and i have to take it to job sites and the motels when we are working out of town i dont know how many of the led caution lights i have had to replace on the truck from them getting stolen
 


It was either awful dark, or you were awful drunk to not notice that damage right off.

Anyway.. That's seriously not cool, hope by some chance you figure it out.
 


I made the mistake of leaving my truck on someones property near this draw we were pulling trash out of, I came back the next day and all my windows were broken both headlights and taillights they stole the cd player and broke the steering column. They started my roommates Jeep on fire as well.
 
wont hear back from progressive till tomorrow on a time they will be able to asses the damage.i think it some young kids with nothing better to do.its like as soon as the weather warms up all this starts around here i went to the local chevy dealer last summer to look for a new truck and it was early in the morning and there was cops everywhere someone had stolen the wheels and tires off a new silverado and left it sittin on the brake rotors

just a little update the cops have three kids in custody they was caught in the act lastnight a 13 year old and two 14 year olds and progressive called and said it would be next week before they can have someone come out and look at it so off to get a rental now and misery is right
 
lol *NOT LAUGHING AT YOU* but this cracks me up. Thieves are running rampant like the multiple cold storms made them antsy. At my dealership we just placed an order for 3 yes 3 TAILGATES. Whole assemblies, cables and all. 1 red, 1 black, 1 blue all new GMC TAILGATES ROFLMAO. I got to work and was like who does this? are they really that important to people to sell a OEM TAILGATE!?!?


to the OP sorry about your car, that really sux and I hope the cops get them and you get everything back to working order with money in the pocket :th_thumbsup-wink:
