Its not that small is it?
apparently a black guy accused my dad of being racist after he called him boy. well my dad is twice as old as this dude plus he says that to everyone. well come to find out hes done this to 2 other white guys, one of which worked there for 50 years. well im at war with this dude. my family has never been that way but this is bull****. if were gonna be accused of being racist hes gonna get racist... i dont even care anymore if this offends anyone i cant believe this **** is goin down. all i know is im gonna get mine.

Keep your cool, don't play into his hands. Like mentioned before see if he and the other two guys can find someone to take their case pro-bono and go after his job. There have to be Anti-ACLU legal defense firms in your area that take these types of cases.

It will probably be easier to find another job.

agreed but why must someone of any race use their race to do this to someone. its not right. i guarantee you there will never be a black guy getting fired cuz he called a white guy a cracker or white boy. this is one sided and he knew he could get away with it.

America = sucks..it's sucks that your dad would get fired for some crap like that. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a whole race thread. Certain people are raised a certain way and of course their environment has a lot to do with it to. I'm African American myself but would I have reacted that way hell no. Keep something like that to the job not on a forum sparking a big controversy and bringing out the inner racism in everybody. Take it out w/ the one person who ****ed it up and don't assume that were all a like that. Even if someone called me boy would I be offended no... unless it was intended to offend me. Were all human and kno when someone is being serious or starting **** last time I checked it 2010 and different races live and breath the same air here.

it seems this employer is trying to get rid of its veteran employees. there seems to be a pattern that is geared to bring in fresh blood. IMO!
 


lmao at the post above me. tru . . . but why would he get fired. thats rediculous. i mean they probably did it to save there behind. but firing someone is rediculous especially if its a pattern. at work probation is the step that should have been taken.
 
hate to hear about your dad. i work at a truck shop and there is only one mexican and one African american. we go back and forth with "racial" stuff. we all know its all in fun. if one of us goes too far we let them now. dont use slurs and that but just poke each other. some people just arent used to it. we all know each other pretty good tho so we know how far to go and when to stop.

First off, make sure the other two guys were fired for that reason. Get you info from the horse's mouth. Second, I would not do anything to move this guys focus on you, sounds like he has done it before and knows what he is doing. The truth about it is, he has some leverage on the situation. Third, if this is all true, your dad and the other two guys have a solid case and will need a money hungry asshole lawyer.....
