sup guys, im in OKC i am going to look at a 2000 GT friday hoping to get it, it needs a power steering pump so if you guys can guide in the right direction to do it myself, im
ive always like the Grand prix.

i was lurking, the site looks great and there is a lot of helpful info here.

I am a Mustang owner, i have a 94 GT with a few paychecks :th_king-evil:

Nah,thats why i have my stang :p
the GP GT is gonna be my DD during the winter and i might drive it on my trips (vacation)
i just want a solid 6cyl im pretty sure this will be a good car for me.

why are you changing the power steering pump is it leaking? Its not bad need to do mine too and its just the back bolt that looks to be pita... If you rock the motor forward you should have plenty of room to work on the pump.

the guy told me is going out, its making this whiney noise.
i checked and the pump its only $81 + core. not bad?

i 2nd the intake gaskets. i love my mustangs too, but u gotta mod the gp, it gives u better gas mileage!!!!

well, i got a 98 v6 one for my daughter. me and wife are in our last semesters in school so when i get done, i'm getting another.( i had a 90 hatch and my wife had a 2000) i got a 351 lightning shortblock waiting for a good candidate. i fulley plan on keeping the gtp(wife's dd, though it's mine). i've done 3:73 gears to my daughters. rebuiiilt engine, 3.8., gasket matched and good blending of the heads and intake. shaved heads .030, and have some 1.8 rr to put on some time, and u?

Before you go replacing the Power Steering pump make sure its got fluid in it. Alot of people have a tendancy to not fill it because its a ***** to get to.

put some lucas ps fluid conditioner. works 4 me, i've put off replacing mine for about a yr now!:th_laugh-lol3:

I have a 94gt, stock motor and transmission.
