Needs A Turbo
im gonna run my friends g8 gt from a 25 roll for shyts and giggles tonight

i have mods in sig, and he has an intake and catback.....will it be slaughter or decent?
 


well duh lol i just wanna know how many cars behind ill be im just fukkin around i dont really expect much out of it

yep had a shyt coil pack not firing under load....im only seeing at most 0.7 * of knock i get lil false knock on hard downshift from my ****ty zzp polys tho....its not all the time....

haha yeah thats my guess itll be nose-ish til about 80 then bam he'll disappear like that guy on mr deeds as i will underestimate the sneakyness of the sneakyness on the L76.....not to mention a L76 is basically a ls2 with ls3 heads on a toned down fuel management tune.....thank god he wont have his diablo tune on there :th_lipssealed1:
 


it was about a car length til 80mph then he started walking me on top end so pretty much our prediction it was fun tho.....he's making 365whp so i guess i did alright considering im driving a mildly modded car a 1/6th the price of his :)
 
I say and I'm being nice since I ran one when they came out with custom exhaust...it'll be nearly even until about 70 ish...then bye bye

not to bad. what all does he have done to his or is it stock? and did he **** his pant with you keeping up that well?

yeah i was prob me at his rear quarter til we got going faster and i slowly fell away...he didnt really shyt his pants as i have blower so we knew id have some low end quicker and his top end would eventually tell my blower to fukk off lol so it was predictable....he has a ram air intake, magnaflow catback with the tune on he dyno'd 365 at the rear wheels and when we raced tonight he had the tune off so not sure on his numbers.....i think rockers and an IC and i might have a chance next time :)
 
Good thing it was only a GT, GXP has stock 402HP... with mods... oh lord.
But still, could be worse. G8 Firehawk anyone? 500HP...

Almost disappointing that it went as predicted, with enough mods you could put your car close to 365...
 


**** THE Firehawk. That is the biggest load of crap ever. The Firehawk is the Trans Am...always has been and always will...and it'll die a T/A trademark since the G8 won't be around to be turned into a disgrace of a thought like that.
 
Nice job bro. I love them new g8 though. People underestimate our cars WAY to often. Not sure why. Maybe its the grocery getter look or somethin.

You can't bring back a label on a car that no longer exists. It's just a tag, like GXP. Lot's of high-trim Pontiacs use GXP, SLP just expanded the FireHawk "tag" to the new G8, the most potential Pontiac to bear such a burden. Everyone seems to make a big deal about it, it really isn't.
