I currently have this in my Grand Prix.

subs from dukes car stereo and the jensen monitor from sound domain. But now i just try to find people or other dealerships. Dukes screwed me over 3 times so i finally had enough with them. Never by from dukes.
 
wow I worked at the on Miller Rd and they always were nice there. If you need anything let me know, and I'll see what I can come up with
 


oh sorry lol. when did you stop working there? i got my system in my 94 old grand prix done there in summer of 02. i just got this system done in summer of 07.
 
dont get the jl w7's if you want something that hits hard go with the new orion hcca ! that thing is a monster !

I hope you have good reasoning for this..My JL 12W7 w/500/1 amp killed people. It would have been more insane with a 1000/1. Ported box I had was too much and had to transplant it. Even still it was killer.
 
I have felt JL is ok, but over rated, I also think of kicker the same way, everyone thinks each is the best thing out there. The Orion stuff is decent, but I don't like them as well as before Directed bought them, they were a bit more cutting edge and "cheater" type stuff before
 


if you go to youtube they have a video of the orion hcca beating a jl w7 . jl's are good for sound quality but if you want beat go with orion ! i smoked a w7 in about 1 week . i will never get 1 again . sorry just my opinion .
 
yea there are ton of videos like that on youtube . i have been into load systems all my life (27 years old) . i have experienced tons of different subs but once i tried orion i will swear by them . now i have a earthquake subzero it is good . i would place it right above the jl w7 but when i have enough money it will be ALL ORION again .my last pair got stolen out of my suburban so i got this subzero for like $150.00 from earthquake .
 
yea i will say directed killed my view of them but after seeing the new orion hcca sub. , i couldnt help but drool . after direct bought the orion line and west soast customs had their line i didnt want to buy anything else from them but then my stuff got stolen so it is either buy someone elses used stuff or buy the new line .
 
i heard that the jl audio w7 is jl audio best subwoofer yet and plus i heard my w7 n in this grandprix and it sounded nice. I really like JL Audio alot so most likely im just going to stick with them unless i find some memphis subs and amps.
 


check the for sale section there are a couple memphis amps, and he probably has some subs too. If you want the sub that Car Audio and Electronics said was the best ever go Critical Mass (it beat the JL on all levels)
 
i checked he has alot lol. I think im just going to get a w7 and thats it for my system. Rather work on the car than a system lol. Plus systems in general are over rated anyways which i know archemedes said kicker and jl are. But it seems like someone will get something new then someone has to get better than him i mean whats the big deal? its what your happy with. systems are a waste because in months what you got they already upgraded their line.
 
DAMN .. :eek: .. at $1999.99 for a 12" subwoofer i will stick with something a little cheaper until i am that rich to just blow a couple grand on A subwoofer . it is light weight though .
