The 99 I'm looking at has an LS with new tranny and new built rear with 4.10 gears. In 97 diff they make a ws6 with an LT4

That silver 99 looks like a giant piece of junk.

Dirty, cracked body, bumper damage, horrible looking dash, looks like it's been bombed down a dirt road every day it's life.
 


I say take the money you got back from the current TA.

Sell the projects and the parts.

And buy a decent FBody.
 
Just going to put this out there.

You bought this 20 year old car with 173k miles on the clock and you are surprised when it spewed oil out? Regardless what you paid for it, this thing was worth $1000 tops; look at the outward appearance of the condition, the car was clearly not cared for and looks to have been sitting for some time.

You are lucky enough the dealer/guy refunded you, regardless of what the lemon law says (As I am no attorney, but age and mileage says that in this case a car like this has absolutely ZERO coverage under any law, It is called BUYER BEWARE for a reason) and your response is to continue on by suing the guy...that money you just got back, kiss that goodbye. Consider yourself lucky and move on.

No offense dude , but looks like he fuc ked you right when you handed over the money. I undersrsnd not everyone is rich but that's a $800 car tops - to be used as a solid roller. New paint and drivetrain but then even the interior looks like filth and mold.
Did you put something down to sit on when you test drove it ?
 


Looks like you'll be buying another lemon that's in terrible condition.. Do you want another project car or a dd...
