Re: 1997 Black GTP, No More Winter Mode.

How's it with the blue housing? I have 5500k and want it somewhat close.

With the blue fog light housing, it actually looks much closer to 6000k or even a tad bit more blue.

The blue housing makes a big difference, that's why I went with the brightest white possible.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, No More Winter Mode.

Thanks man, exactly what i was looking for, I don't think the 5500k and the ~6000k would clash all that bad.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, No More Winter Mode.

I have 6k VVME hids in my headlights and my 4300k with the blue fog lights - they match pretty well.

Looking good bro. I feel ya on the curb rash, I've been parking so far away from Curbs and I won't go through a drive thru lol. I've curb one before in a drive thru and it was painful

Same here man. Drive Thru is what got the best of one of my rims. Awful... :( Lesson learned the hard way.

Re: 1997 Black GTP, No More Winter Mode.

My next "mod" was going to be F-Body brakes, but I wasn't planning on doing it anytime soon just for money reasons. But, a good deal came about that I couldn't pass up. Thanks to REDCOMPG, he snagged me some F-Body calipers, brackets, with hardware, bolts, and the banjo bolts all for Junkyard price. Looks like I'll have more stopping power sooner than I thought.

Currently already have HAWK Ceramic pads for the F-Body's but I still need to acquire Stainless brake lines, sleeves, front rotors and I'll be replacing my rear rotors and pads while I'm at it. While getting the new parts, these calipers need a good cleaning/painting, and I'll also replace the seals just for a peace of mind.

Also bought some eBay LED lights to swap out the interior lighting to all LED. I should have done this a long time ago:

Re: 1997 Black GTP, Soon To Have F-Body Brakes.

Nice, brake upgrade and LEDs!!

Got 20 pieces of 194 style Led's from ebay for $7, now my interior, side markers and license are bright AF lol.

Me too lol

No more buying expensive bulbs for me, when I can just have a bunch of extras and replace them as they go out.
