Dogbone replacement

Mirraco

One BadAzz GT Dawgg
I need to replace my two dogbones in my 01 gt. I ordered the black part that connects to engine, what's the part inside the front called? Does that need to be relaced aswel? My driver side on has a lot of movement the passenger has a little bit of movement.

does engine need to be supported at all during the replacing? I got the two main dogbone parts for 40$ on their way in the mail.

bushings. I would replace them too, might as well if you have the cash. And google rotating them.
No need to support the engine with just the dogbones off. Two lower motor mounts got it covered.

I may be confused. I ordered two of those. Is there anything else I will need to do this? I have the two main dog bones I thought there was another bushing I may be wrong.

I have two of the the dogbone main parts. Just thought there was another bushing there is one on the one side of it, then the other side is open does that go toward or away from engine and is there nothing else in there just the bolt?

Here man.

The one side of the dogbone has a bushing attached to it, and attaches at the motor. The other side attaches to the torque strut bracket, which comes with it's own bushing, which is the one you should rotate. You shouldn't need to replace this one unless your motor is shaking violently. If you ordered the main dogbone(s) already, just attach it to the stock torque strut bracket and your newly rotated bushing in it.

The bushing that connects to radiator had a good amount of movement should I relace the brackets while I am at or? That looked like where all the movement was coming from

Its the rubber part inside of the bracket I want to rotate? Thise two things are all I need the strut mount(dogbone) then the bracket?

or get polly mounts for the rad side.

And just remove the old bushing or whatever it is and use the old bracket? Are they more than a new bracket?
