• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

What did you do to your Car today?

Shiny side up and in between the ditches is a state of mind that I try to stay in. Roads been slippery lately though if'n ya know whut I mean...

I didn't notice the desk until I scoped pics, lol. Prolly rather torch it than snag it, ha ha. I bet its broke or nasty but I do dig good wooden furniture.

Installed L76 springs, Intense Retainers, and Viton seals yesterday and today. Also put a band clamp on the rear crossover. Amazing the difference in the car. Really a worth while upgrade.

Finally got the chance to wash the GP and Bonneville. Aired up the tires in both since they were low as well. They're not 100% clean but look a lot better than they did. Will get a good detail/wax once all the snow is gone for good and the temps stay above 50.

not today... but we bought a new one.
GP is gonna be parted out and sold off.

new vehicle is a 2015 RAV4 AWD XLE, in the nice Blue Crush

I sat next to it and pleaded with it like my 3 year old pleads with me. I was changing the rack and pinion bellows and when I took the driver side off it dumped about a cup and a half of fluid out. Things had been feeling sloppy and she has 240k on her so I guess I can't complain. There went my DHP money.

This is the second to last component to be replaced on the suspension. Struts, top mounts, springs, boots, bearings, control arms, sway bars, bushings, end links, trailing arms, subframe, rack and pinion, and the inner and outer tie rods have all been replaced within the last year. All that's left is the lateral arms.

My car hasn't moved since I got home around midnight Friday night, though I pulled a bunch of crap out of it that I threw it in out of the work truck from when I got back to the shop today. Hopefully can actually clean it out next weekend.

That would be a good sticker to put under it hahaha. The sticker, yellow gas cap and a flex fuel badge will go on this week after I was the car. Brandon gave me some vht to tint my tails too, so that'll happen. My spoiler might make its way on soon as well..

fixed p0171 today(im pretty sure) and took out my mildew smelling trunk carpet. found rear strut tower rust not to bad tho. i have the tech and i can fix it (im pretty sure)

Three oil changes... both of mine and the dad's Buick.

Just about broke my wrist trying to get that oil pan plug broken loose on the Buick... I swear, everybody else is banned from changing oil on any of my cars ever again. The torque spec on that thing is supposed to only be 18 ft-lbs...
