• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New MazdaSpeed3

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

Well it ran 14.2 but it's boost limited in 1st and trapped over 100. Would be interesting!

I honestly could of done better if the trans wasnt ****ting out the entire day. It was a scary ride home. Called the jy i got it from cus i purchased the warrantee with labor so hopefully they can find or ill be rebuilding it.

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

.5 seconds and 6mph slower than jayrocas on e85 xp cam and ported heads!

damn good runs imo for the mods you have!

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

Oh and because i was bored

Might rebuild it idk, wasnt a broken band like i initially thought. Yet to look at the clutch packs.

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

Happy to see it go to a good home. I felt bad for not having time to clean it. Looking great...enjoy!

Re: Gins 04 Comp G

Almost ready :D Clutch looks great, went with the stage 5 cus racecar. Also got my hydraulic lines and fittings all hooked up to the master and slave. Also got a Wilwood universal clutch pedal which seems like its going to work perfect. Got my tune all squared away as much as i can without the swap being complete. There is a factory camaro flywheel sitting in a junkyard a town away so ill go grab that this week. Found some factory axles and a subframe also in the junkyard that needs to be pulled for cheap. All i need now is the flywheel machined, oil filter adapter plugged, redrilled and threaded. Oh also need to order a tub of poly to form the trans mount and mockup/weld the engine to trans bracket. purchased 5 quartz or gm syncromesh so i can fill/drain/refill the trans for peace of mind.

Re: Gins 04 Comp G 5 speed?

When's the estimated time of being finished?

I'm anxious to see how this works out.

Asap. It all depends on if/when im moving and what the weather looks like. Im currently looking for a house with a garage. Hope to be moved in the next couple months and the weather should be good with the next couple months aswell. I def plan on having it done by spring/summer.

Re: Gins 04 Comp G 5 speed?

Right on!

Local here did a full G6 center console and everything out of a 6-spd car into his '98 turbo car...good luck with it, looks good so far
