Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Am I seeing that right, you blew up both mufflers?

Yep, it also cracked/broke my tail lights (they were already de laminating). also the metal from the muffler also put a pretty good dent at the bottom of the trunk pan where the spare tire hump is. GP131 I'll get right on that writeup as soon as I figure out how to recreate what happened.

this is too good... i'm sorry about it but at the same time it is hilarious
Half the reason I posted it is because I thought it was so funny I had to share. after I had a couple or six beers I had my brother drive it pass the house a few times wide open and I almost died from laughter.

Wow, that is some wicked damage, lol... I had that happen on an old GMC box van that I was changing the plug wires on. Went to lunch and someone said they finished it up. Turned the key to move it and it wouldn't start. Tried a few more times and BANG! That 454 wasn't playing. Took out the muffler, part of the exhaust pipe and shot a nice flame out from the carb (the air cleaner was still off at the time). Come to find out the idiot not only had the wires in the complete wrong order but for some reason also moved the dist. some. Not sure why but the boss failed to see the humor in it once he heard the bang :th_scratchhead:

I'm not sure what the heck happened, it has never failed to start on the first tap of the key. Even when I had the supercharger off 3,000 miles ago to rebuild it, port it, and install the SD headers, it still fired up on the first crank. last night right after happened I was thinking that it was caused by the crank position sensor I've read about that likes to go out, but now it's firing up just fine.

Somebody stuffed a banana in your tailpipe(s)!!!

Hahahaha!

Glad nobody got hurt, but this brought tears to my eyes!
:D

Here's a pic of the taillight damage. like I said it was already starting to de laminate but none of the cracks or broken pieces were there before the incident.
