Conrad's DD- Retrofits, Bullitts, Lowered

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Also why wasn't my car in any of these pictures lol

Because I just took them, we could get a couple pics of the GPs.

damn thats a good looking coupe wish my 2 door had paint like that sooo bad!

Funny thing is, my paint isn't all that good. The front bumper is very chipped up, cracked paint touched up, the deck lid and spoiler has a TON of touched up scratches and chips (someone must have strapped something down or something).

My Camaro has better paint (Old pictures) (Car will also be for sale soon, bone stock 2000 SS)

Products I normally use with a Porter Cable

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Your car is a 20/20 car.....looks good 20ft away at 20 mph

we should get some pics next time we shine thm up

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Haha thanks yours also ;) mine definitely aren't perfect but for $80 they were worth the extra little expense.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Car's going to be lowered on DNA springs, just ordered them. Going out to the junkyard now to get some subframe washers. I'll order vinnie's spacers after I get everything installed if I need them.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Ordered ZZP washers since the junkyard will charge too much for subframe washers.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Sure is, it'll probably be a week for the springs and washers.

Undercoated the strut towers, used rustoleum professional grade undercoating. Better than nothing I suppose.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Damnit! What have I done.

Not too shabby for $175 I suppose. He let me have the connectors also.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

now that is what i call a good day. nice pick up and i though the rip would be bigger

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

HAHA, it must be "Get leather Seats Month"

Mad Monkey got some, now you and I get my fronts tomorrow. Nice score.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

It's a pretty large rip but I'm hoping my dad's upholstry guy can fix it for cheap, the guy works at GM and strickly does seats so he knows what he's doing.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Also I won't be putting the rears in the car, too much work from what I hear.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

I love 04+ seats but those were a "rip" lol. I was going to go get them like 2 weeks ago until he sent me pictures and I seen the tear. One of my friends got a set of 04's with a tear like that for $50. A new seat back cover from gm is like $190 or something, plus labor to install if you don't do upholstery yourself. Good luck with them though.

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

Just that 1 "panal" needs to be replaced. I'm hoping it'll cost around $100 to fix, we'll see.

Re: My car is done (PICS)

Mine are the same size. Maybe the offset is different. I've noticed the speedo is off a little, the tires really should be 245 50 17 to match factory.

Im running the 17in Bullitts with the 245/50/17s and they rub slightly on stock suspension at about 160,XXXmi in the rear on decent size bumps. You might be better off with the slightly smaller ones. lol. Nich looking ride man!!

Re: Conrad's slowkar DD

That is exatly the look I'm going for. What color and paint did you use on the rims?
