Im on the path to running the 3.4 pulley and my next mod is going to be ether down pipe or possibly power log. I would much rather get a u bend delete being as the price for the down pipe (with cats) and installation.

I should be able to skate with a ubend delete and install for around $100.

Down Pipe is the way to go, but I was wondering if I could get away with just a ubend delete. The DP only runs about 100 but you need to get a cat with em.

What option would I use from zpp's down pipe so I could use my cats? would the have to be welded on or bolted on?

Also with the power log, you will need to get the gasket with it correct?

If you select cat'd bolt in you won't have to do any welding and could install it yourself.

If it's going to cost you $100 for a u-bend delete don't bother. The stock dp is so restrictive that I don't see the point in just a u-bend delete, even on a N/A car.

For the exhaust manifold gasket, I've seen the stocker reused. But, to me it's cheap insurance to get a replacement to avoid having to do it again.

just sayin thats what i got,its the easiest route IMO.u dont have to pay anyone labor.Took me and a friend about an hr to do it...but we didnt loosen dog bones prolly a lil quicker if u loosen those up...as far as gaskets,if the DP doesnt come with them just take it to parts store and they will match one up for u...i reused the gasket on the manifold side of DP and had to replace other one for like 4 bucks...U will notice a small gain in top end from the DP too.

edit: i put an ad in the WTB section of classifieds for mine

DP for sure.....Or if you're plannig to mod heavier in the near future save you're money for headers. They usually come with a dp.

    Hope that helps!
