Coolant/Water Leak? Please help!

I just purchased a 2000 GTP under two weeks ago. I had already fixed a multitude of problems when I took it to get inspected today. Well it failed both emissions and safety. They called me with a $1000 estimate for a new rack and pinion because of a power steering leak, as well at $400 for a resonator leak. Well I got under my car and looked for the power steering leak... well there was a leak, but it wasn't power steering fluid. I threw some Lucas power steering stop leak in the fluid anyway. Well from first glance, I was sure it was coolant leaking by the passenger side, but it wasn't beneath the coolant reservoir. I put a cup under there to find a clear liquid dripping. I attached some pics below of the leak. Does anyone know what is leaking and where its leaking from? Also, would you guys recommend me getting a new resonator, or could I get by with the leak?

ok we see something on the frame but those pictures dont do justice. they arent good enough unfortunately cuz it just shows what is being leaked on and not where the leak is coming from.

just making sure that by resonator you mean your exhaust. sure you can get by. you dont NEED it done. if you want a quieter smooth ride then yeah you should repair it. definately shouldnt cost 400 bucks. you can get almost a whole exhaust system for that lol

Clear liquid, eh? Was the air conditioner running? The AC compressor will run automatically at anything over 39 degrees. If the engine was running this might just be condensation from the AC system, nothing to worry about.

check your coolant elbows and water pump, and the heater hoses, and lower rad hose for leaks.

get a glass pack muffler and put it in place of the resonator, glass pack $25 new walker res $100. and its the same thing.

Thanks all. I guess I'll check all the hoses and such as soon as I can get back under there. Just found it odd water would be leaking out since the car was off.

water pumps are good for leaking after the cars turned off. the elbows will leak after its off as well. hell any of it can leak after the cars off, its still under pressure.

If it's clear fluid it's just residual from the AC system. Unless your cooling system is filled with water, there's nothing else that's going to come out clear... Well, there's gas but that would have an obvious smell.

right your coolant system would have to be filled with 100% water for any of those things to be leaking clear water. if it is then thats stupid and you should drain most of it and add anti-freeze before it evaporates.
