• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

major mpg imrovement!!

It just reset the DIC so the number on there is better. Your actual mpg's didnt change becuase of it

absolutely. ubend and resonator delete will also help. -weight, -backpressure, + mpg, + horsepower, + sound

Resonator delete does NOTHING. A resonator is straight through and offers no restriction. All deleting the resonator will do is make the exhaust sound raspy and like crap.

Also backpressure is a myth.

Id like to check into a ubend delete, and see what my exhaust guy will charge for something like that. And I don't want my car anylouder, I prefer it kind of quiet. And ill get headers when my stocks fail. And im not too familiar with tunes, what they do, where to get one. I want my car as reliable as possible. Its my daily driver, not a side project. I appreciate all the info u guys are throwin my way!

steelthee is a noob. even if it did nothing, its eliminating weight and improving mpg. plus it sounds way better when its out.
backpressure is a myth? please.

No, youre wrong.

A resonator is STRAIGHT through. It offers NO MPG gain if its removed. It sounds like **** when its cut out.

Only a dumbass 20 year old who works at AutoZone and thinks he knows everything would think it sounds good.

Stop posting stupid bullsh!t and learn something. Backpressure is INDEED a myth. Why don't you google the phrase "Backpressure is a myth" and you will read for hours about the truth of that statement.

L36pro, my main man.

I want you to do something for me, ok?

Take your front o2 sensor out and stick a pressure gauge in there and read me the numbers.

I bet you 1 kabillion dollhairs, that if your exhaust is putting out less than 1 psi of back pressure. If you think I'm wrong, so be it, but your still a idiot.

if its straight through then how does it effect sound.
and less weight = improved fuel economy.
This post here shows you don't even know what you are talking about.

As for less weight, you might lose 3 lbs. Maybe. That 3 lbs isn't going to make an ounze of difference in fuel mileage.

splain how the resonator works then, if its just straight through? explain how a glasspack works if its just straight through. come on man, your just arguing for the sake of it

No, you are the one arguing for the sake of argument. You didn't even know a resonator or a glass pack is straight through, yet you claim to work at a parts store.

yes the pipe is straight through, but do you notice how it expands and becomes bigger than the pipe its welded too???

The expansion mufflers the sounds and makes its softer and less raspy.
