Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Few ?'s. What gives tach signal, and TCC solenoid ?'s

My 03 grand prix with the 3.1 is giving me some problems. The transmission is doing what I've heard best described as a "chuggle". It almost rocks back and forth when changing gears, like it can't decide what to do, and shifts hard. Also the tachometer doesn't work, and on occasion it will give a reading but usually sits at zero. The check engine codes read crankshaft position sensor out of range as well as torque converter circuit stuck on.

I replaced the crankshaft sensors (the one behind harmonic balancer and the one on the back of the block) And the problem persists. My questions are is there another place the tachometer pulls signal from? I can't figure out why it still won't give a reading. And is there a way to bypass the tcc solenoid?

I've read that a shift kit will speed up shifts and possibly prevent the converter from locking up, but are there any other fixes short of taking the transmission apart? Any advice or ideas would be appreciated!
