Caused a problem I can't seem to fix...
My 96 Grand Prix had the dreaded window track problem. I took the door apart and solved the problem by molding up some epoxy and graphite slide tabs on the window that had worn out. Now, the window works fine and it no longer pops out of the rear track.
However...
Now the power locks no longer work when the interior lights are on. Weirdest thing. Locks work fine when the doors are closed and the lights are off. I've even tested the locks as you close the door. The locks begin to work when the interior light timer goes off.
I've looked as what I might have done to the door wiring and can't see any problem I caused. Doesn't short any fuses and everything works fine as long as the interior lights are off.
Anyone got any ideas what I might have done to cause this?
