Hi guys,
Over the weekend, I changed my thermostat, which went well. The car now heats up to temp, which I'm pretty excited about. I even got asked out by the guy at Auto Zone, because he was so impressed I was doing it myself, LOL.
This morning, I was sitting in my car with the window down waiting for the train and I heard this pretty loud, high-pitched whistling sound. At first, I wasn't sure it wad coming from my car, so - tried shifting out of park, but the sound remained. Then, I turned the car off and sure enough, the sound was gone. I also noticed a bit of a rough idle, bouncing only by about 100-200 RPMs, but it doesn't feel exactly normal.
Are these two related? Could it be a vac leak or is there something else I should look at?
Recently, I've cleaned the MAF sensor and replaced a vacuum line going to the Throttle Body. I checked a couple of the lines when - changed the t-stat, and everything seemed okay.
