MY2001 GTP front drivers axle will not come out for nothing. I replaced it with a cardone axle about 2 months ago and the other day my car started vibrating again, after looking I found the passenger side had puked no big deal right? WRONG the new drivers side one had a cut in the outer boot very very small but there. So I decided to pull the passenger one first 15 minutes later its out. The drivers side has now been going on 5 hours worth of tugging and prying and still will not come out. It moves like many others state in there threads about 1/4 of an inch but will not pop free of the c-clip. I broke down this evening and bought a wrecking bar with a 90 degree to really leverage on it *36inch* I hammered and kicked and still get no response I even cut the inner boot and clamped my vise grips onto it to pull it out, but it just won't let go. Is there something I may have caused when I put this thing in to bind it or is it just because it's a new clip? I am starting to leave some marks on the tranny cover so I am getting very discouraged. Does anyone have any other idea's? Of course it broke down friday after I got my wisdom teeth pulled spent the whole weekend working on it and I'm sure it took its toll my cheeks are still swollen out like a chipmunk.
