So I always thought it only told the pcm that the cat was or wasn't working but some are saying it does some stuff with fuel trims too? I know there is problems on the 01 and newer, but what about if I remove mine on my 99 gtp? Do I have to get the sensor? I'd rather just run with a cel till I tune it out. Thanks

Any links to where you are reading that the rear sensor actually does something to how the engine runs? I would love to read it.

Why do you want to remove yours?
